Mr. Lawrence’s career began in the global financial sector, where he worked with prominent firms like Shearson Lehman Hutton, Prudential Securities, and Dean Witter Reynolds (now Morgan Stanley). His role involved portfolio management and investment sales & marketing to CEOs, high-net-worth clients, and organizations.
In the realm of Management Consulting and Performance Management/Coaching/Training, Mr. Lawrence has amassed over two decades of experience, working with >150 organizations of various sizes across numerous industries. His client list includes notable names like Clark Construction, DR Horton, Caterpillar, MASCO, Flatiron Construction, Mercedes-Benz, AnnieMac Mortgage, AECOM/URS, Penhall Company, McBride Electric, MBK/Mitsui, Atkinson Construction, NAI Global, Stone Brewing Company, Newmark Knight Frank, Hollencrest Capital Management, and many others.
Academically, Mr. Lawrence is a Harvard University alumnus, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Management, as well as a DBA at the University of Dallas (ABD) in Organizational Leadership. He also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Harvard, coordinating assignments and improving the educational experience for students. At times, he even had the opportunity to instruct Management and Organizational Behavior classes solo to gain more teaching experience.
Since 2020, Mr. Lawrence has been humbly serving as an Adjunct Professor of Management and Organizations at SMU - Cox School of Business and the Lyle School of Engineering, a prestigious private university in Dallas, Texas. His dedication and impact were recognized when he was named “Professor of the Year” in 2022 and voted as “one of the top three most impactful professors” by the Rotunda Scholars in the Fall of 2022.
